A CIVIL ACTION was good, and I think they got to what was at the heart of why: the honesty. It’s a slowly-paced movie, impeccably acted and heavily weighed and if you’re expecting the big show-down scene at the courthouse and the guy running in with the evidence that’s gonna make the bad guys pay; you’re not gonna get it. It’s almost documentary-style in its direction.
