    he …

    He is amazing.
he has total 36 dan! (include Hapkido, TKD, Judo, Kendo etc) this martial art is mixed with many of martial arts. according to this video, he was master in Hapkido. and he made this martial art on 1996. I’ve practiced Hapkido and boxing. so If i have chance to learn that martial art, of course I will do.

  3. What is readily …
What is readily available on the internet isn’t necessarily true.

Learn to read and speak Korean.

Learn to read and speak Japanese.

Learn the way Chinese characters influenced the written language in both countries.

The internet is full of . Think for yourself.

    Research for yourself.

The mythology of Saulabi is complete bullshit.

Seriously kid, either do the research for yourself or shut the up.

  5. Don’t need one to …
Don’t need one to know that the saulabi bullshit is exactly that; bullshit.

Even Korean history professors don’t believe it.

In fact, those who perpetrated this lie were forced to retract in Korean courts when they were sued.

So shut the up with the propoganda.

  10. Saulabi.’Saulabi’ …
Saulabi.’Saulabi’ is made from liking ‘Sau-da’(to fight) and ‘Abi.’ Saulabi was the elite class of Paekje(346-660), and as Paekje collapsed, they came over to Japan, and taught the spirit of Samurai to Japanese fighters. Takeshi class had appeared before the Japanese counterpart did, so Japanese warriors have their origin in Korea!

  14. how can it be a …
how can it be a predecessor if all the moves come from Aikido? That’s like me giving you some clay, you molding something beutiful out of it and then me taking it back, smashing it up a bit and claming it was my own all along, pfffft

I buy into the propaganda? You’re the one that just READS about it… and I’m the one that listens to propaganda. HA!

  18. Wow, because you …
Wow, because you read it that means that it’s true; how about getting out of the house once in a while and doing it. There are those that live it and those that just read about it… Who would you believe? Grandmaster Yong-Sool Choi stated: …”Was conviced that ancient Korean Hapkido was similar to the martial arts of Aiki-Jujitsu. It was only after exhaustive research that I discovered Hapkido to be the Korean predecessor to Aiki-Jujitsu.”

  19. the only difference …

im ing tierd of arguing about this, there is no reason to try and drain blood from a stone, if you guys believe the korean propoganda than go for it! i know the truth because i read what the founders said themselves, General Cho said it himself that the only thing modern TKD took from taekyon was the concept of concentrating on the legs and that all the actualy techniques come from kung fu and shotokan, HE SAID IT, ALL KOREAN MARTIAL ARTS ARE DEAD, everything now is a copy

    By potz555 on Nov 10, 2008

  21. Korea didn’t forget …
Korea didn’t forget anything, because of Japanese occupation Korea had to lay low on their own MA. Taekyon, Hapkido are older than Karate, JuJiutsu, Judo (Which derived from JJ). You are so uneducated, my god! Why would someone comment on a subject they know nothing about?!!! And trust me, I know what I’m talking about, because I actually study the arts.
